The GEGSA is a volunteer organization that assists the Glen Ellyn Park District with the administration of the Girls Softball program. Our objective is to promote participation, instruction, sportsmanship and competition in fast pitch softball for the girls from the Glen Ellyn area.

There are several components to the GEGSA program, and details for each are one this website.

• House league: girls from age ? thru high school play from april to july ....
• Travel Teams: Girls starting at at 10  make a bigger commitment to play softball year round.  ....
• Tournaments: The GEGSA sponsors ? tournaments / year. The main one is the Glen Ellyn Invitational ....

 Mission Statement

•  Provide the girls of Glen Ellyn with a quality House League focused on fun and the development of the girls' softball skills in a sportsman like environment.
• Provide the girls of Glen Ellyn with a competitive Travel program by providing instructional, intermediate and advanced level teams
• Accomplish the above at a reasonable cost with a focus on safety
• Consider controlled growth that does not impact the quality of any program
• Explore new ideas to improve the program
